BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: SEYER INDUSTRIES

This past week, I had the pleasure of visiting Seyer Industries, a remarkable third-generation, family-owned aerospace manufacturer right here in St. Louis, Missouri.

During my visit, I was incredibly impressed not only by the precision and innovation driving their work, but by the Missourians behind it all. In conversations with employees, it was clear that everyone at Seyer Industries takes immense pride in what they do. I especially valued the opportunity to speak directly with workers in various roles to better understand what it takes to remain a best-in-class supplier of complex aerospace products, and how the company continues to build on its growth and innovation for the future.

Seyer Industries is helping lead the next generation of aerospace advancement through precision machining, welding, assembly and testing, chemical processing, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Operating four shifts around the clock, 24 hours a day, their team keeps America’s aerospace industry moving forward with an industry-leading employee retention rate of 95 percent.

What stood out most to me was Seyer’s forward-thinking mindset. As aerospace enters a new era defined by automation and AI-driven manufacturing, Seyer Industries is already positioning itself for the future. Their continued investments in talent, technology, processes, and facilities are helping ensure Missouri remains a national leader in aerospace innovation.

Because Seyer has been family-owned since 1957, they have the flexibility and long-term vision to continue investing in the people and technologies that will shape the future of flight. That kind of private ownership creates stability, strengthens customer relationships, and reinforces a long-term commitment to both employees and the community.

Missouri businesses like Seyer Industries are proof that American manufacturing is alive and well. I will continue doing everything I can in Congress to support businesses like Seyer and ensure they have the resources and opportunities needed to succeed for generations to come. Thank you for having me!
