WHY WE NEED THE SAVE AMERICA ACT
Americans deserve elections they can trust, but right now, confidence in our system is eroding. That’s why the SAVE America Act is so critical. This legislation addresses longstanding flaws in election integrity, including barriers imposed by prior federal statutes that have limited state election officials’ ability to maintain accurate voter registration lists.

Key Provisions of the SAVE America Act
Proof of Citizenship for Voter Registration: Voters must provide documentary proof of citizenship in person before registering to vote or requesting a mail-in ballot.

Photo ID Requirement for Mail-In Ballots: Voters must include a copy of a photo ID when requesting or submitting a mail-in ballot.

Protection Against Voter Impersonation: Requiring a photo ID makes schemes like voter impersonation far more difficult.

Strong Bipartisan Support
The American people overwhelmingly back these reforms:

71% support the SAVE America Act, including 69% of independents.

81% support voter ID, including 79% of independents and 70% of Democrats.

75% back proof of U.S. citizenship to vote.

Yet, some Washington politicians continue to resist. Democratic leaders have recoiled from election integrity.

Americans deserve better.

Restoring Confidence in Our Elections
Faith in our elections is slipping. A recent poll from the Center for Transparent and Trusted Elections shows only 60% of voters are confident their votes will be counted accurately in the 2026 midterms, a 17-point drop since the 2024 presidential election.

With President Trump in the White House, who understands the urgent need for election reform, we have a rare opportunity to make meaningful, lasting changes. The window is closing. Now is the time to act, so Americans can once again trust the results they see on election night.

ADVANCING CANCER TREATMENT FROM MO03
It is an incredible honor that right here in our district, the University of Missouri Research Reactor, known as MURR, is now making its no-carrier-added Lutetium-177 available to the world.

Over the past several years, MURR has established itself as the premier U.S. supplier of this critical medical isotope. Now, for the first time, MURR’s NCA Lu-177 product will be available to the global marketplace, putting our district and community on the worldwide stage in the fight against cancer.

Lutetium-177 is a reactor-produced medical radioisotope that has proven highly effective in targeted cancer therapies. Radiopharmaceuticals containing Lu-177 deliver precise, high-energy radiation directly to tumors, allowing doctors to attack cancer cells while limiting damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

As a physician, I am deeply proud to represent the district that is home to the largest university-operated research reactor in the United States.

As MURR Executive Director Matt Sanford explained, “There is a growing demand for Lutetium-177 for research, clinical trials, and commercial products as more cancer-fighting drugs are developed. MURR is the only end-to-end producer of Lu-177 in the United States, and we are expanding our focus.”

Beyond producing NCA Lu-177 and other emerging medical isotopes, MURR is helping drive innovation and collaboration with scientists, radiochemists, and oncologists all on one campus in Columbia, Missouri. MURR’s work is proof that groundbreaking innovation can happen right here at home, delivering life-saving advances for patients while strengthening our local economy and cementing our district’s role as a leader in medical research.
